Connecting with people through art is one of the oldest forms of communication.
Talking or making sounds, drawing, painting, dancing, acting and using symbols are all ways we have and still do communicate.
You know when you have a person who may be deaf or hard of hearing, a person from another country who does not speak English well. How do we communicate with them? It truly is easy, through gestures, hand symbols and signals, drawings, paintings and so on.
The people I connect with most are those I can speak with candidly without any airs and graces, just normal chatter and those who express themselves through art, photography, design or some form of creativity are another level of my favourite people to communicate with.
