Each year Dubbo Regional Council holds a remarkable gathering of artists at the Western Plains Cultural Centre named the Dubbo Art Fair.
To date I have been fortunate enough to have my art accepted as a participating artist on two occasions. It’s exciting, firstly to be accepted but secondly to participate and be part of something simply great.
Artist, friends and family attend the weekend long event. Each artist has their nook to display their artworks and sell to likely art collectors. It’s an incredible experience, the whole community becomes involved and enjoys the art, morning tea or lunch at the venue and lots and lots of chats. Sometimes with old friends you haven’t seen forever.
So this year make sure you put Dubbo Art Fair on your calendar and emerse yourself in wonderful art.
