For many years, 14 in fact, I was a commercial photographer and writer who worked as a freelancer for newspapers and magazines. Some of my work was related to businesses and creating advertising and marketing material for those businesses. I also worked as a trainer and tutor with TAFE NSW teaching photogrpahy and graphic design to students.
Why photography? Because it was an integral part of the way I communicated with diverse groups of local communities and eventually Australian wide communities. Photography allowed me to view the world from different angles, perspectives, colours and concentrated thoughts. Photography is now the core to my current artistic direction and practice. It enables me to source ideas and develop those unique ideas into creative pieces which are appealing and purchased for office spaces, commercial premises and home decor items right across Australia.
